Have you ever wondered what singing in harmony feels and sounds like? Have you considered joining a choir but can't commit to weekly rehearsals? Have you been in a choir and are looking for more? Join Music Director, Veronica McPhee, for an evening of shared music-making.

Drop-in choir will explore harmony (music where complementary pitches are sung together) through ostinatos, soundscapes, partner songs, descants, and folksong rounds. Participants will learn techniques to free the breath and open up the vocal range.

No experience is necessary. All ages are invited to join in the fun of group singing!

Veronica McPhee grew up in a musical family. She followed her passion to complete a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Victoria. She has appeared as a soprano soloist with several orchestras and choirs and in musical theatre productions. Veronica obtained advanced conducting training from the University of Victoria, BC Choral Federation, and Capilano University-College. Since moving to Squamish in 2000, Veronica has been actively involved in the music community and has been the Music Director for Squamish's adult community choir, Sea to Sky Singers, since 2003.
