Cat Madden’s unique voice, a blend of operatic and gritty tones, reflects her eclectic musical upbringing. Influenced by rock, punk, ska, and French classical composers, she later discovered folk artists like The Cranberries and Laura Marling. Inspired by KT Tunstall’s performance, Cat pursued diverse musical styles in London, mentored by renowned musicians. Overcoming performance anxiety, she moved to Canada, where karaoke nights helped her gain confidence. Now a successful artist, composer, and vocal coach, she founded “Cat Madden Music” and performed at the Squamish Constellation Festival, sharing stages with renowned artists and regularly playing at The Railway.
