Childhood friends Shamil & Jason from Moçambique, became the DJ & producer duo Perspectiv when they both moved to Vancouver, Canada in 2016. They run their own events brand called ‘Crossing Worlds’ and have become a staple for afro-house & organic music in the Vancouver night scene. The duo weave their multicultural backgrounds into a story that takes audiences traveling through sonic landscapes that span from Latin America to their mother continent of Africa. With releases on Cafe de Anatolia, Inward Records, 3000 grad, and Lump records they are finding their unique sound with more releases planned for the year!
